For the 2017 Black Music Honors Awards Show, we were asked to handle the production design.  The event already had some pre-fabricated pieces which included a stage facing, step units and a couple of knee wall units.  We added some custom fabricated knee walls to the center to mask the band, a flown piece upstage center, eight custom column units, four of our "string drape" rental units and our 60' x 30' "Alanis Drop" to fill out upstage.  We added a 53' wide x 13' tall 6mm LED display and included a "stair step: feature on the sides to allow lighting designer Mark Carver a unique set of lighting positions.  The design was completed with a gloss black floor with a custom graphics package.
